Better Living with Liz Walker
Better Living with Liz Walker is a series of television programs offering
viewers meaningful and thoughtful information about improving our physical,
spiritual and collective wellbeing. Hosted by award winning journalist
and ordained minister, Liz Walker, Better Living is part of a broader
public engagement project focused on health utilizing interactive new
media and community forums, presented with support from Partners Healthcare.
Bridges to Our Future: The Next Generation of Leaders
A 30 minute Black History Month television special aired on WHDH-TV Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011 at 5 p.m. and again on WXFT-TV/Fox 25 Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. The special covered the recent gathering of more than 500 top Boston High School students on the Wheelock College campus for a powerful conversation about violence, racism and leadership during turbulent times led by Harvard University Law School Professor Charles Ogletree and television actor and author Hill Harper.
We Women
We Women is the second production of Liz Walker's non-profit company, Liz Walker Journey Productions, and is directed by an exciting young Bostwanan filmmaker Thato Mwosa. We Women is a film about courageous women working for peace in the troubled country of Sudan. This documentary profiles four women from different cultural, social, and religious backgrounds
